Over the
last two years, SISE and Albert Lindley Lee Memorial Hospital have
formed a mutually beneficial informal partnership that can best be
described as a "win-win" scenario for both organizations.
From my vantage point as Director of Information Systems, the hospital
has benefited immensely from SISE's objective reviews and
professionally written summary presentations of raw data SISE needed
for funded research studies. Data collections were well organized,
causing minimal disruptions to the hospital workforce, maintained
anonymously, and analyzed expertly by SISE concerning the impacts of
the introduction of advanced information technologies upon the
hospital's user communities. In some cases, the SISE reports confirmed
beliefs already subjectively held; in other cases, the hospital
received new insights that resulted in modifications of implementation
strategies and follow-ups. Most organizations with whom we work prefer to keep their identities confidential because of the sensitive nature of information security research processes and results. Some of our partners and funders, however, wish to make their association with SISE publicly known: The project team is proud to have worked with the following groups and organizations. SISE Partner Groups and Organizations:Please consider becoming a SISE partner organization: Contact Isabelle Fagnot (ifagnot[at]syr.edu) for additional information. The SISE project and the CNY-Secure Business Initiative offer an expert team of faculty and students from Syracuse University's School of Information Studies, Engineering and Computer Science, and the Maxwell School. We provide a range of services, information, and support that many organizations find beneficial.
